What is mEgo?
A mEgo is a first-of-its-kind multimedia portable profile that allows you to share interactive, dynamic and highly personalized visual representations of yourself across the web.

mEgo solves the problem of having to create and maintain different profiles on each social network and site that you belong to. Instead, you have a single profile - a mEgo - incorporating not only your profile information, but also favorite feeds, content and utilities (YouTube videos, Twitter tweets, Flickr pics, Amazon.com wish lists, Friends/Notes/News from your Facebook/ MySpace / Hi5 etc, any RSS feed, etc) that you share on your social networking pages,sites and blogs. When something changes, you update your mEgo at a single site (mEgo.com) or the origin of feed data, and the mEgo is automatically updated wherever it has been posted.

mEgo launched it's beta product on Sept. 18, 2007 at TechCrunch40 where mEgo was chosen as one of the top 40 tech start ups worldwide.
